STORYLINE:

STANDUP (English): ALI JASWAL, Xinhua reporter
"A group of students from Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan Province visited Pakistan's federal capital Islamabad. The visit was organized by the Chinese embassy in collaboration with the Pakistan-China Institute. During the three-day visit (from June 8-10), the students went to different places in Islamabad, where they got a lot of exposure. They learned about the development path which China followed and they got ideas (from it). And they also visited a university and an entrepreneurship association from where they got the business ideas and also how they can implement those ideas in their province. They had an exchange with high-level Pakistani officials and also the Chinese diplomats, which enhanced their exposure as well as the future roadmap which is required for the development of Balochistan."

"We are present in Islamabad, invited by the Chinese people. Because China has provided us with this trip. Earlier, they had given us scholarships. I myself have received a China-funded scholarship. I am thankful to them for such opportunities.
We came to the Chinese embassy and met their officials. We discussed a lot of things regarding economic growth, how the two countries can grow. Most importantly, they asked us about the situation of Gwadar, the economy of Balochistan, and how Pakistan's economy can grow."

SOUNDBITE 3 (Urdu): RIZWAN ASGHER, Student of Gwadar University
