A37 Bradford Peverell FATAL Crash scene
Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on the A37.
A man died when he was struck by a car on the A37 near Dorchester in Dorset.
The crash, involving a white Mini Cooper driven by a 21-year-old man, happened just after 10:20 GMT on Tuesday at Wrackleford.
Dorset Police said two passing off-duty doctors stopped to give medical help to the pedestrian, a local man aged 60, but he died at the scene.
Officers have taken in the car for investigation work and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
They are particularly keen to trace the driver of a green Land Rover who stopped to help the pedestrian.
