Super cute short-legged albino buffaloes line up for parade at animal contest
Super cute short-legged albino buffaloes lined up for a parade at an animal contest.
Footage shows the dwarf creatures standing at an average of only 3ft-tall as they were herded by their caretakers in Phitsanulok province on May 21.
Compared to usually dark-skinned creatures, the albinism turned their hides in light, almost pinkish colour.
The creatures were taken to the event to join an animal beauty contest, popular among Thai breeders and farmers.
Farmer Chanachai Supying said: ‘The buffaloes were so cute. Their strange appearance was due to genetic defect but they find a purpose in these events.'
The short albino buffaloes suffer from dwarfism which is a condition of being unusually small.
