Lifeboat seen out in Gale Force winds off Kent, UK
Southend-on-sea's lifeboat was seen operating in gale force winds in the Thames Estuary this afternoon (July 15).
The 8.5m long B-class Atlantic 85 lifeboat was seen battling large waves and winds up to 50mph.
The vessel was filmed from Sheerness, Kent and was undertaking a training exercise.
The South East has been battered by strong winds today with the Met Office issuing a yellow warning.
