Crowd of women set fire to house of man accused in Manipur sex assault case
After a shocking video of two women stripped naked and forced to march in front of a mob of men in Manipur, east India, went viral, a group of women set fire to the house of one of the alleged perpetrators.
The inciting video was believed to have been filmed on May 4th, however it only recently went viral prompting the outrage and reprisal filmed here on July 20th.
The house of the one of those accused in the sexual assault case was burnt down by an agitated mob comprising mostly of women, and filmed by local residents.
Five accused have been arrested till now in connection with the case, while police are still investigating further suspects.
