A heart-stopping moment unfolded in Junagadh when a lioness strayed dangerously close to an industrial site, triggering panic near Patapur.

The incident occurred outside Ambuja Cement Industries, where the lioness was seen chasing a dog and suddenly reached the factory gate. At the same moment, a young man was in the process of closing the gate—unaware that the predator was just steps away.

As the lioness came into view, the man froze in fear, caught face-to-face with the wild animal. Showing remarkable presence of mind, he reacted within seconds, slamming the gate shut and sprinting into the factory office, narrowly escaping a potentially fatal encounter.
