Video filmed in Luoyang City in Henan Province on July 31, shows a curious phenomenon where rain appears to pour precisely out of a clear-edged hole in the centre of thick cloud cover.

The phenomenon was likely influenced by the effects of Typhoon Doksuri, which looked as though a heavenly tap had been turned on, with ribbons of rain cascading down from this one particular point in the sky.
