Coast guard rescues two workers from ship off Atchafalaya Bay in Louisiana, USA
The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced two passengers from a construction vessel off Atchafalaya Bay, Louisiana on Thursday.
Coast Guard Sector New Orleans watchstanders received a medevac request when a male crew member onboard the vessel experienced heart-related problems at around 11 am on August 10.
Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans dispatched an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew to hoist the two men and transport them to the University Medical Center in New Orleans.
The stricken passenger was last reported to be in a stable condition.
