Yinchuan has been built for 2121 years. Due to its three major characteristics of the ancient capital of Western Xia, Hui ethnic customs, and the Jiangnan region, it was announced by the State Council as the second batch of national historical and cultural cities in 1986, ranking among the 110 historical and cultural cities in the country. There are numerous historical and cultural relics distributed in the ancient city, which reflect the development and changes of various historical periods in Yinchuan. With the passage of time, numerous historical and cultural relics in Yinchuan City have gradually disappeared into the long river of history. The video shows a collection of Xixia Green Glazed Jialing Pinjia from the Xixia Museum in Yinchuan City, Ningxia, and features a close-up of the local area. The human head bird has a hollow body, a kind face, and a towering bun. Its hair is tied up with two strings of beads, which is different from the gray pottery Jialing Pinjia. The Western Xia green glazed Jialing Pinjia is generally turquoise green in color, with wings spread out and a long tail raised high, all resembling the human head bird body. All Jialing Pinjia squatted on a hollow pedestal, with a human figure above the abdomen and a forward leaning upper body. They wore a four cornered leaf patterned wreath on their head, with a round and plump face, drooping eyelids and closed eyes. Their jaws were plump and full, and their eyebrows and eyes were highlighted with engraved fine lines. Their demeanor was calm and serene. Make both hands firm and solid with palms pressed on the chest, with a silkworms shaped lower abdomen, and press the legs back onto both sides of the vessel seat. Insert wings into the narrow tenon holes on both ribs and tail, with plump wings resembling the wings of a big roc, and a long tail resembling banana leaves. Kneeling and riding on a square corner base with legs and claws, the front of the base is decorated with plastic curly cloud bending patterns on both sides, and the entire design is completely in the style of exotic statues. In addition, from its nose ribs and eyebrow arches, it tends to have a Central Asian style and has more Western cultural imprints than Dunhuang clay sculptures. Jialing Pinjia is a symbol of Buddhism and the Pure Land of the West. The Western Xia Dynasty used the image of this divine bird in the construction of royal tombs, with the aim of informing the world; Jialing Pinga is a bird of the Buddhist kingdom, created by Amitabha Buddha of the Western Pure Land. The emperor buried here has returned to the Western Pure Land accompanied by Jialing Pinga, who is the Buddha of the Great Xia.
