Turtle lays eggs in a woman's driveway

This woman was shocked to come home and find a turtle in the middle of her driveway. The turtle had hug a hole and was in the full process of laying her eggs. This was a red-eared slider terrapin which is a very common freshwater turtle found in Oklahoma. These type of turtles typically don't care for their eggs afterward once the eggs are buried. The woman captured the eggs on camera and did her best for the situation. Nature will always leave you surprised!
