Every first Sunday of the month of September of each year, the "Pedestrian and Cyclist Day in Defense of Mother Earth" is held and families go out to the squares and parks and the bicycle routes shine.

The "Pedestrian Day" seeks to raise awareness about environmental protection and promote human health. It is an opportunity for Bolivians to enjoy a cleaner and safer environment, while committing to the preservation of Mother Earth.
