Pop singer Post Malone tattooed a female fan's arm - before they had it permanently tattooed on their skin.

The rapper met excited fans before his show in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday evening.

Follower Kanyanut Prajongmoon joined a growing trend and had the star sign her arm with a black marker pen. She then visited a local tattoo studio to have the signature permanently etched under her skin.

Kanyanut said: 'I feel so very honoured to have a tattoo over the signature of a world-class artist like Post Malone.'

Fan Aris Singhanat also had the star's signature tattooed on his arm.

He said: 'I asked Post Malone to sign my arm and when I came back I had to hurry and get it tattooed. The ink from the pen will fade soon, but this is permanent.

'I'm so happy. I'm such a big fan of his.'

The singer's next stop is Manila, the Philippines, for another concert on September 18.
