An animal lover made a beautiful blue butterfly specimen mounted on a frame with glass.
Timelapse footage shows the insect enthusiast injecting preservative on the dead bug using a syringe and carefully spreading its wings to fix them into position with a needle in Yunnan, China on August 2.
When the butterfly was stiff, he transferred it to the wooden box covered by a clear glass.
He said: ‘In this way, the image of the beautiful butterfly could last forever.'
