Two schoolboys kept a paper plane afloat through an obstacle course.

The grade 3 pupils named Sprite and August are seen in the video practising for the paper plane relay at their Student Arts and Crafts Competition in Ayutthaya province, Thailand.

Footage shows Sprite flying the origami plane and following it around while avoiding the blockades and holding a plastic board under it to maintain its buoyancy.

His friend and project partner August waited in the middle of the hurdles and took over the paper plane without letting it touch the ground and successfully finished the course.

Teacher Sunaree Khamsrireung said: ‘They were so happy that it worked, it was like they already won the 71st Students Arts and Crafts competition.'
