IDF Paratrooper Brigade Battles Hamas in Sheikh Ejalin, Gaza Strip

Operational footage has surfaced, capturing the valor of the Paratrooper Brigade as they confronted Hamas terrorists in the Sheikh Ejalin area of the northern Gaza Strip. The clash ensued when IDF soldiers, part of the 202nd Battalion, came under fire during a mission.
In the intense battle, Staff Sergeant Yehonatan Yitzhak Samo and two fellow soldiers were injured. Despite sustaining wounds, the soldiers courageously initiated contact, returned fire, and coordinated tank strikes with aerial assaults. Tragically, SSGT Yehonatan Yitzhak Samo succumbed to his injuries on November 11th, following the skirmish on November 8th.
The IDF mourns the loss of a dedicated soldier, highlighting the risks faced by troops in the ongoing efforts to maintain security and combat terrorism in the region.
