Adorable pet goose goes shopping with family for snacks even jumping in cart
An adorable goose joined its family on a shopping trip for snacks – even jumping in the trolley.
When Faith Lyons’ pet African Grey goose Angie asked for some food on November 19, her owner knew they needed to do a quick shop to grab her favourites.
Cute footage filmed at a Tractor Supply store in Fruitport, Michigan, USA, showed the six-month-old wandering through the automatic doors with a pink harness attached.
Angie then jumped in to a cart with Faith’s son Max, two, as they were pushed around the store grabbing apples for their beloved bird.
Faith said: “This was actually the first time we've ever put a harness on Angie or taken her anywhere. She was really well-behaved.
“The other customers were pretty amused. The lady up front called the rest of the employees when we walked in and they all came up to pet Angie.
“We bought dog treats and some waterfowl treats for our ducks and geese and some seeds for the chickens. Normally Angie just gets apples from our tree but it's starting to be out of season.
“We raised Angie and her sister Quasar from when they were two days old and interacted with them a lot. They’re a real part of our family now.
“In total we have six chickens, five ducks, two geese, three dogs and two cats.”
