A deadly fire broke out on the fourth floor of a six-story building in the commercial capital, injuring 35 people. At least 11 people have been killed and 35 injured in a fire at a shopping mall in Pakistan's commercial capital, Karachi, officials said.
More than 60 people were inside the mall when a fire broke out on the fourth floor of a six-story building in the southern port city.
"Our rescue workers have taken 11 bodies to hospitals so far," said Shahid Hussain, spokesman for the Chippa Welfare Organization, which runs the rescue service. According to him, 35 people were injured, seven of whom are in serious condition.
