STORYLINE:
A Chinese-built commercial and logistics center is slated to commence trial operations in July 2024 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's commercial hub.
It has created thousands of jobs for the local people and is anticipated to drive the economic growth of the East African nation.

"Well, this project promotes cooperation between China and Tanzania in several ways. Firstly, it provides a platform for Chinese and Tanzanian businesses to interact and establish partnerships. Secondly, it fosters technical cooperation and technology transfer between Chinese and Tanzanian engineers and technicians. Lastly, it contributes to the development of Tanzania's infrastructure and economy, creating opportunities for mutual benefit and growth. And it is anticipated that a total of more than 15,000 new jobs will be created directly during the construction phase and operation phase."
