Minibus horrifically crushed between two trucks, killing at least 3 in China
A minibus was horrifically crushed between two trucks, killing at least 3 in southwest China.
Terrifying aftermath video filmed in Bijie City in Guizhou Province on December 3, shows a minibus, obliterated beyond recognition, getting trapped in a vice-like grip between two trucks.
A schoolboy, clad in his uniform, was seen emerging from the demolished minibus, a lone figure against the backdrop of devastation. The surrounding area was littered with coal, spilling from the trucks, adding to the chaotic scene.
The Jinsha County authorities swiftly mobilised emergency services, healthcare, public security, and fire departments to the scene, spearheading a massive rescue effort.
The collision resulted in six people being injured, each rushed to medical facilities for urgent care. Tragically, despite the best efforts of the rescue teams, three individuals succumbed to their injuries, their lives claimed by the severity of the accident. The remaining three victims are currently undergoing intensive treatment in a bid to save their lives.
As the community reels from the shock, the investigation into the cause of the accident and subsequent handling of the aftermath is actively underway.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
