Chennai airport swamped by floodwaters from Cyclone Michaung
Flight operations at Chennai airport in south India were severely affected due to flooding as Cyclone Michaung brought heavy rain in its wake.
Footage filmed on the morning of December 4th shows the entire runway and airplane parking zone of the Chennai airport filled with water.
The airport initially planned for a two hour closure which was extended to over twelve hours after the rain became more severe.
