Man cuts hole in car trunk for Husky to prevent vehicle damage in China
A man cut a hole in his car trunk for his Husky to prevent vehicle damage in southern China.
The funny video was filmed in the city of Yunfu in Guangdong Province on December 5.
A dog's head was seen poking out from a hole in the trunk of a car parked by the roadside.
Ms. Cheng, an eyewitness, shared her initial surprise, saying, "At first glance, I thought it was a stuffed toy stuck to the back of the car, but then I realised it was a dog's head peeking out from a hole in the trunk!"
According to the dog's owner, Mr Peng, the dog named Cui Hua has been part of his family for three years. Creating a hole in the trunk was a reluctant yet ingenious solution to a hairy problem.
Peng explained, "Having Cui Hua in the car always left a lot of dog hair, and she had a habit of tearing up the leather seats, which are costly to replace. Putting her in the trunk seemed too stifling, so I had this sudden idea to use a grinder to make a hole in the trunk. This way, Cui Hua can stay in the trunk but still enjoy the scenery and breeze during our drives."
He added that the hole is fitted with a cover, which is used to seal it when Cui Hua is not in the car, ensuring that the vehicle's functionality is not compromised.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
