The bizarre footage shows the moment a woman yells at a bunch of children playing on the roof of a six-storey building urging them to come down.

The unidentified lady, and reportedly a caretaker, was in the middle of her shift, when she noticed the four children in the city of Xiangyang, in Hubei Province, north-western China.

She can be heard screaming at them to come down after she saw them playing on the roof of the tall building across the street from her workplace on Friday, December 8.

In the video, she says: 'Go down, don't go up there, and if you go up there, I'll call the police, you have climbed up so high, go down quickly, go down.'

Later in an interview with local media, she explained that her motherly instinct immediately kicked in when she saw they were in danger.
