Staff member peels off 'boycott' stickers at Puma store in Canarby Street after being targeted by pro-Palestinian protest
A staff member cleans store the windows at the Carnaby Street branch of Puma after earlier being targeted by a pro-Palestinian protest (December 23).
Hundreds marched to the store, blocking the pavement outside, during the final weekend before Christmas Day, busy with last minute shoppers.
The windows, covered with 'Boycott Israel' stickers and daubed with 'Free Palestine', over the links with the sportswear brand and the Israeli national football team, who they sponsor.
The agreement has now been pulled, and the brand will no longer sponsor the team from next year.
