In a dramatic incident filmed on December 25, 2023, a cargo truck loaded with pine tar suddenly caught fire. The quick-thinking driver promptly steered the vehicle towards the nearby Dexing City Fire Rescue Brigade, where 13 firefighting personnel rapidly extinguished the flames using water jets.

Upon receiving the distress call earlier, the fire brigade had preemptively raised parking barriers, allowing the truck to swiftly enter the Dexing City Fire Rescue Brigade. The firefighters discovered that the cargo truck was fully engulfed in flames, with thick smoke billowing. Faced with urgency, rescue teams laid water hoses, set up two water gun positions, and attacked the fire from both sides of the vehicle. Within 10 minutes, the fire was successfully extinguished.

The burning substance was identified as pine tar, weighing approximately 7 tons and valued at around 70,000 yuan. The affected area was about 8 square meters. Fortunately, timely intervention prevented major losses, averting potential explosions and ensuring no casualties.

The truck driver recounted noticing smoke while waiting at a traffic light near the old station. A passerby on an electric scooter alerted him to the fire. "I sensed something was wrong and since I am a local in Dexing. I immediately drove towards the Fire Rescue Brigade and dialed 119," said the driver. The specific cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

据货车司机介绍，他开到老车站门口等红绿灯的时候，看到后面有烟，一个路边骑电瓶车的人对他说，你车着火了，着火了啊。“我发现情况不对，因为我是德兴本地人，我就直接往消防救援大队这个方向开过来了，并马上打119。”目前，起火的具体原因仍在调查中。
