STORYLINE:

The last box girder for an express line linking Xiong'an New Area in north China's Hebei Province with Beijing Daxing International Airport was installed Saturday, marking a major progress in the construction of the express line.

"The successful completion of the bridge project across the entire line has established a solid foundation for the laying of ballastless tracks slated for 2024. Next, according to the construction plan, we'll adequately allocate the resources, precisely control the construction timing, and enhance management measures to fully advance the construction of the project." 

Once the line is completed, passengers from Xiong'an will have the convenience of completing check-in, baggage check-in, and security checks in advance. They will be able to reach Beijing Daxing International Airport within half an hour.
