An initiative to strengthen the coordinated development of life sciences and healthcare industry in China's Hebei Province and the national capital Beijing was launched Saturday.
At a high-quality development forum for the biopharmaceutical industry held in Langfang, Hebei Province, the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone and the China Association for Vaccines (CAV), along with some enterprises in the industry, unveiled the initiative and called for more cooperations and better mechanisms.

"So we saw very good discussions and proposals from the different authorities that are supporting the initiatives to improve registration, customs clearance, importing of products. That is for us, as a multinational pharmaceutical company, of utmost importance and very interesting to improve. That allows us to better support the development of the Beijing-Hebei-Tianjin area and that improves the development of China."
The Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone is developing the life sciences and healthcare industry as its leading industry. It is striving to seek a new industrial development path by relying on the established industrial base, the location advantage and the policy advantages of the airport comprehensive bonded zone.
