On the morning of January 1st, CHP H-30, Southern Marin Fire District, and the National Parks Service swiftly responded to a distress call reporting a patient possibly suffering from hypothermia at Black Sands Beach. Upon assessing the patient, H-30 was summoned to land on the beach, facilitating the transfer of the individual to Conzelman Road, where Southern Marin Medic 4 awaited.

Effecting a seamless transfer, H-30 handed over the patient to Medic 4, who then transported them to a local hospital for necessary medical attention.
