Red metal plummets from sky, damaging cars and buildings in southern China
1月11日，广州市荔湾区海龙街道凤池村，突然传出一声巨响，紧接着有人发现从高空掉落下一块红色不明金属物。据目击者吴先生描述，这是一块非常坚硬的金属板，厚度约2厘米，不知从何而来，砸到了隔壁一栋楼房的房顶边缘，掉落的砖头和石头把他停在路边的轿车后窗玻璃也砸了一个洞，后车窗玻璃也裂开了。这块金属物看起来有150-200斤重，砸在地面上时产生了巨大的震动，仿佛房屋都要坍塌一般。幸运的是，金属物并未直接砸到人，只有房屋和车辆受损。吴先生介绍，事发后他们报了警，目前他还没去维修车子，正在等待警方调查结果。
据警方透露，类似的情况在附近地区也时有发生，他们正在对这起事件展开详细调查，以确定金属物的来源和性质。同时，警方也提醒市民加强安全意识，遇到类似情况要及时报警处理。
