Unconventional durian transport: carrying the infamously pungent fruit in Sanur, Bali
In a peculiar yet practical display of dealing with the notorious scent of durian, a recent video shared by @liannsmal on January 29, 2024, captured an unconventional method of transport in Sanur, Bali, Indonesia. The footage revealed an individual securing a durian, the distinctive and pungent Southeast Asian fruit, to the rear of their car. Given the fruit's overpowering odor, opting to tie it at the bottom back of the vehicle instead of stowing it inside seemed to be a creative solution to spare the occupants from enduring the notorious fragrance during the journey.
