Just before 330 Mount. Armed Fire Department and surrounding units were alert to a reported working commercial building fire.

As units began to respond they were advised of multiple calls and units quickly confirmed a working fire from blocks out with flames visible.

Command arrived and found the building and its contents fully involved and began defensive operations to protect the near by houses.

Due to the fire load and units having low pressure tanker task force was requested along with an engine to pressurize the hydrant nearby.

Crews from Northumberland, Schuylkill, Montour and Columbia counties battled the blaze for over 11 hours including overhaul.

Reported lost in the blaze were several compactor trucks, an atv, boat, pick up trucks along with other items inside.
