In a recent operation, the Paratrooper Brigade combat team uncovered a significant amount of weapons within a building next to a UN school in Khan Yunis, shedding light on Hamas' misuse of the Gazan civilian population for its activities. Among the weapons confiscated were AK-47s, warheads, grenades, RPGs, and ammunition.

The Hamas operative utilized a breach in the school perimeter to access the adjacent building and retrieve weapons for attacks on IDF soldiers. Concurrently, IDF soldiers facilitated the evacuation of civilian residents from the conflict area to ensure their safety. Approximately 60 operatives attempting to escape amidst the evacuation process were apprehended by the IDF for further investigation.

Further incriminating evidence of Hamas' exploitation was discovered in a nearby building, where additional weapons, ammunition, gear, and Hamas attire were seized. An operation was also conducted in the residence of the Head of the Anti-Tank Array of the Khan Yunis Brigade, revealing an assortment of weapons and intelligence materials.

The ongoing offensive in western Khan Yunis by the Paratrooper Brigade combat team focuses on targeting Hamas operatives and engaging in close-quarters combat, as well as precise sniper interventions. Aerial images depicting the passage used by operatives between the UN school and the compound where weapons were stashed have been provided, along with footage showcasing the assortment of weapons uncovered by the Paratrooper Brigade.
