Pilgrims worship "sacred stone" in Nanhe village, Bajiao Township, Enshi city, Central China's Hubei province, Feb 24, 2024. A bluestone about 3 meters high attracted countless people to sacrifice, filled with countless sacrificial supplies, firecrackers. Incense has been burning here for decades, and the stone is called "divine stone" and "godfather". According to local people, this "stone" has existed for decades, when the country road was built, someone wanted to blow up the boulder with explosives, but because of several blasts have not succeeded. Once a driver drove here, because of fatigue fell into a trance, the car rushed down the cliff section, the driver suddenly saw a mass of red light, woke up the driver, quickly brake to avoid the consequences of both people and cars destroyed. The driver immediately got off to see that it was a boulder stopped on the edge of the cliff, for this reason, the driver underground worship, think that the stone saved him. Since then, the driver has often come to worship this stone, and has covered it with red cloth and filled it with various offerings.
