Paramedics Save Paragliding Accident Victim in Vallejo, CA, USA

The dramatic footage captured the intense moments as paramedics worked quickly to rescue a paragliding accident victim in Vallejo. The skilled crews from CHP - Golden Gate Division Air Operations took swift action on February 25th to come to the aid of the injured individual.
The rescue operation involved deploying a CHP Flight Officer/Paramedic via hover offload to make contact with the patient. The individual was then treated and carefully placed into a rescue harness for extraction. With precision and expertise, the patient was hoisted from a rocky outcropping and transported to a waiting ambulance.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Vallejo Fire, Medic Ambulance, and CHP - Golden Gate Division Air Operations, the patient was safely taken to a local hospital for further medical care.
