An illegal fireworks storage triggered an explosion, killing one in eastern China.

Dramatic video filmed in Jinan City in Shandong Province on February 26 shows thick black smoke billowing from a residential building, accompanied by intense sounds of fireworks explosions.

A residential community in Jinan City was rocked by tragedy around 6:00p.m. on February 26.

The incident claimed the life of one person. Currently, authorities are investigating the extent of the damage to the property and the exact cause of the accident.

On February 27th, a spokesperson from the Zhangqiu District Emergency Management Bureau disclosed that the tragic event resulted from the unlawful storage of a large quantity of fireworks and firecrackers within the resident's home.

The fire ignited these materials, leading to subsequent explosions and the fatal fire. At the time of the accident, only the resident was present in the house, and unfortunately, he perished as a result.
