Police officers remove raccoon that broke into home in middle of the night

Bodycam footage shows officers trying to remove a cheeky raccoon from a man's home in the middle of the night.

Officers from the Indianapolis Police responded to the call after after the animal broke into the property around 4am.

Footage released by the police department shows officers entering the house and locating the four-legged intruder in the corner of the room.

The officers were able to corner the small mammal against the refrigerator while they waited for backup with a catchpole.

After two failed attempts, the officer was able to catch the raccoon and release him back into the wild.

The incident happened on January 9.
