This footage was filmed and produced 9 January 2024.

The video shows officers trying to coax the raccoon out of its hiding spot behind the television, but the furry intruder was not having it. The raccoon can be seen darting around the living room, knocking over items and causing general chaos.

After multiple attempts, the officers were finally able to capture the raccoon using a catch pole and safely remove it from the home.

The homeowner, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed his gratitude to the police officers for their quick response and professionalism in handling the situation.

"I never thought I'd have to call the police for a raccoon in my house, but I'm thankful they were able to help," the man said.
