Metro Bus Homicide Investigation in Koreatown, LA, USA

LAPD'S West Bureau Homicide is investigating a death that occurred on a Metro Bus in a Koreatown intersection. A passenger on the bus late Thursday night died after an assault involving pepper spray.
Patrol officers with the Los Angeles Police Department's Olympic Division responded to an "assault with a deadly weapon" call at approximately 10:50 p.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and Olympic Boulevard in Koreatown.
Arriving officers found the victim deceased at the scene. The LAPD did not have any details regarding the victim at this time.
The suspect was described as a male, around 30 years old, wearing all black clothing, according to the LAPD. He is currently outstanding.
Video from the scene shows the sidewalk cordoned off as evidence was gathered from the interior of the bus.
