Bakersfield, United States - January 05, 2025 01/05/2025 01:34 am (GMT-0800) BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – An apparent homicide investigation is underway following the death of an unknown individual in downtown Bakersfield early Sunday. The incident occurred near 19th and K Streets, with emergency crews responding to the scene at 1:34 a.m. According to an individual at the scene, the victim was attacked by multiple individuals for an unknown reason and was left unconscious. CPR was performed by Bakersfield Fire Department medical personnel, but the victim was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
