In a video from Xuzhou, Jiangsu on March 12, 2024, the tranquility is shattered by sharp barks followed by billowing smoke emerging from a house in the surveillance footage.

The video shows that at just after 4 a.m., the dog, named Tank, presumably realized the danger through the smell of smoke coming from the hallways and began barking incessantly to alert his owner.

The two owners woke up in time to discover the fire outside their door and dial emergency services, reporting the fire and informing residents upstairs. Firefighters quickly arrived to extinguish the fire, which was caused by a motorized vehicle, before it caused any property damage or injuries.

The filmer said that Tank is a seven-month-old American bully pitbull with a very gentle disposition, and it has been well appreciated after this resourceful rescue.
