An adorable giant panda enjoyed a treat of apple beneath the sunny skies in China.

The video was filmed in Beijing on March 15. A giant panda named Ya Ya was seen leisurely basking in the sun while nibbling on a large apple.

Ya Ya is a female giant panda born on August 3, 2000, at Beijing Zoo. In April 2003, she resided at Memphis Zoo in Tennessee, USA. After the end of a 20-year loan period, on April 27, 2023, a cargo plane transporting Ya Ya landed at Shanghai Pudong Airport.

On May 29, 2023, Ya Ya returned to the Giant Panda Pavilion at Beijing Zoo. Since her return, she has gradually become familiar with and adapted to the living environment here, maintaining a healthy and stable condition.
