Narong Nivasves, a food vlogger, observed the cola vendor preparing slushies at a market in Pattaya, Thailand.
Footage shows the man tapping the bottom of the bottle, causing it to suddenly freeze.
He opened the bottle and turned it upside down, then shook it to release the frozen drink directly into the plastic cup.
Narong said: 'It was a cool way to make a slushy. It's great for sunny weather.'
This process is called nucleation. The beverage froze because the liquid's temperature was below its normal freezing point, causing it to crystallise.
