In a stark portrayal of the ongoing challenges faced by New York City amid severe weather conditions, NYPD Deputy Commissioner, Operations Kaz Daughtry, recently shared a compelling video capturing the aftermath of flooding on March 23rd.

The urgency of the situation became evident when a 911 call reported vehicles submerged in water, prompting an emergency response from the FDNY. Amidst the chaos, FDNY personnel heroically rescued individuals trapped in flooded vehicles. One male and one female were successfully extricated from an occupied vehicle, while another male was rescued from a separate vehicle at the scene.
