St. Petersburg man caught luring children into his house with promises of sweets
On March 24, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Russia, a 48-year-old resident was apprehended for attempting to lure two fifth-graders into his home with promises of sweets. The incident, captured on footage, showed the man enticing the children to accompany him inside, but they wisely chose to wait outside, citing their mother's warnings about strangers. This wasn't the first time the man had engaged in such behavior, as he had a previous record of similar crimes. A criminal case has been initiated against him, with the possibility of facing life imprisonment pending investigation.
