USA: Fatal Hit and Run Vehicle Versus Pedestrian in Bakersfield

Location: East California Avenue and Ogden Street. CHP responded to reports of a hit-and-run vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Firefighters were performing CPR on the victim as she was transported to the hospital where she succumbed from her injuries. The vehicle involved fled the scene.
The CHP is seeking the driver involved in this fatal hit-and-run.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this fatal incident is urged to contact the CHP Bakersfield Office at (661) 396-6600.
