Semi and Truck Fatal Traffic Collision in Lancaster, LA, USA
This footage was filmed and produced 26 January 2024.
Lancaster deputies responded to the corner of Sierra Highway and Avenue G Friday evening for reports of a traffic collision. Upon arrival, they discovered a truck with a trapped occupant had collided with a Walmart semi truck. California Highway Patrol officers also responded and took over the scene shortly thereafter. First responders freed the trapped driver of the pickup truck who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi driver could be seen sitting in his truck. However, it unknown at this time if they suffered any injuries. The cause of the collision is under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
