Three acrobats tragically fell during an aerial performance, killing 1 in southern China.

Shocking video filmed in the city of Xiamen in Fujian Province on April 26, shows five acrobats hanging upside down from a large apparatus, forming a triangular formation as they were spun into the air.

However, one performer's connection to the apparatus snapped, sending them hurtling to the stage below. Two other performers also fell, though from a lower height.

Authorities from the Jimei District government responded to the incident on May 3rd, confirming the occurrence of the accident on April 26th. Regrettably, one person lost their life in the incident.

The relevant departments have initiated investigations and are handling the matter, with further details pending the outcome of the investigation.

现场视频显示，事故发生时有多名演员在进行表演，其中有5名演员倒挂于一个大型设备上，呈倒三角形被旋转拉向空中，在拉起过程中，一名演员与设备之间连接断裂，从高处坠落致舞台上。另有两名演员也同样坠落，但高度较低。
5月3日，集美区政府部门工作人员对此事做出回应，称4月26日确实有此事发生，事故中有一人死亡，相关部门已经对事故进行调查处理，具体情况以事故调查情况为准。
