This is the impressive moment a clever calico cat opened a bedroom door to let his friends in to sleep.

Zhaocai was spotted unlocking the door to let its companions inside for a sleep in the cosy bed of their owner in Jiangsu, China, on March 2.

Footage shows the feline jumping up and stepping on the doorknob to unlatch it. Four dogs named Mi Duo, Mi Tang, Mi Qiu, and Xiao Hei Ya were seen running inside to get in.

In another clip, the black cat named Hei Niu and the other cat named Rou Dun Dun immediately ran towards the entrance of the room after it was being opened by the smart furry creature.

According to the pet owner, who raised 10 dogs and 6 cats in total, only Zhaocai mastered this skill.
