Mouse nearly sparks fire by accidentally triggering induction cooker switch in China
A mouse accidentally triggered the switch on an induction cooker, causing the smoke to rise from the pot in southern China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in Laibin CIty in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on May 2.
Mr. Tanm, the home owner, explained that he only noticed something was amiss when he smelled something burning. He hurried out to investigate and found the leftovers in the pot charred. He promptly turned off the induction cooker.
Upon reviewing the surveillance footage, he discovered the moment when a mouse activated the switch.
Fortunately, he noticed in time; otherwise, it could have resulted in a fire accident.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
