The U.S. Army spearheaded recovery efforts in the Marshall Islands after severe flooding.

Officials lead the operation in Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll, following severe flooding, caused by powerful waves on January 2. They said 80 out of the roughly 120 residents were evacuated on February 1.

The U.S. Army, alongside Team Kwaj and mission partners, said it was actively working together to bring the island back to its normal state.
