A mother and daughter were left bemused after they spotted what appears to be a glowing orb in the sky above the Abo Ruins in New Mexico, US.

The filmer told Newsflare: "My mother was visiting us in New Mexico so of course we took her out for some sight seeing. Being Catholic, we thought she'd appreciate the Abo Ruins as it is a beautiful Native American Pueblo dating back to 800AD, but hold the history of the Spanish arrival and their missions.

"Upon entering the mission area of the ruins, I looked up and spotted a bright white orb hovering in the sky. Taking photos, and recording, I pointed out out to my mother and husband so we could ponder together what this was.

"It was awfully breezy that day, so ruling out a balloon was immediate. No balloon remains stationary in the wind like this object was. We have a ton of air traffic in our area, both commercial and military (think white sands missile range, Holloman & Kirtland AFB, etc) and this wasn't similar to any of that.

"Puzzled but going on with our day, the orb remained in approximately the same place until we decided to go home. At that time the orb actually followed us, 30 miles west into the wind and hovered above our home for a while before moving due north into a cross wind.

"The three of us still have no idea what we saw that day, this was mid August of 2023. My mother wondered if it was the Holy Spirit or the Virgin Mary, I don't have an answer for her."
